Dr. Denakpon L. Tchobo

Co-Founder and President

Bio:

As President, Dr. Tchobo is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Organization’s operations.

Dedicated to fighting human rights abuses and protecting victims’ rights, Denakpon Tchobo interned at Amnesty International Section of Benin (West Africa) in 2010 where he worked, after his internship, as an activist and volunteer on many human rights projects such as Death Penalty, LGBT rights, Stop Violence Against Women, Health and sexual reproductive Rights, Trade and Arms Control, International Justice, Education, and Children Rights. He also served on the Organization Elective Board Committee in 2014.

Prof. and Dean Michael P. Scharf, Esq.

Co-Founder and Vice President

Bio:

Michael Scharf has been Co-Dean of the Case Western Reserve University School of Law since 2013. He is also the Joseph C. Hostetler—BakerHostetler Professor of Law and serves as Managing Director of the Public International Law and Policy Group, a Nobel Peace Prize-nominated NGO. He has led USAID-funded transitional justice projects in Uganda, Cote d’Ivoire, Libya, and Turkey (for Syria), and maritime piracy projects in Kenya, Mauritius, and The Seychelles.

Kristen Connors, Esq.

Co-Founder and Secretary/Treasurer

Bio:

Kristen Connors has a deep-rooted passion for international peace and justice. As an undergraduate student, she was particularly interested in Peace Studies, and this led her to write a thesis entitled “Finding Peace through Religious Difference: Healing the Wounds of Violent Conflict through Interfaith Dialogue.” Since then her life journey took her back to her home-state of Vermont, where she spent several years working in her community, before returning to law school to study public interest and international law.
